Dangerously Speedy

You sit there, in the shadows.

Watching,

Waiting,

Wanting.

With patience and purpose,

You crouch behind the tall grass.

You make no sudden move, no mistake.

Your next meal depends on your next move.

Seeing an opportunity,

One small opening,

You make that move.

Swiftly, you spring up,

And you run.

The impala you are chasing breaks out into a run,

Fleeing for its life.

It is fast,

But you are faster.

You catch it,

You kill it,

You eat it.

You are the Cheetah,

Regal and stunning.

Lean and strong,

You are clever, and quick.

Nothing can escape you,

Nothing can catch you,

For you are Dangerously Speedy.
